How we work
Our product comparisons are being built around sourced specifications, clear trade-offs and a visible explanation of the method.
Specifications and sources
Product dimensions and other factual details need identifiable sources. A comparison should link to those sources and explain when a calculation, such as floor footprint, comes from the stated dimensions.
AI-assisted writing
The planned comparison workflow uses AI to help write and check explanations. Automated checks compare the article with its supplied source data. These checks do not replace hands-on product testing, and a guide should never imply that testing took place when it did not.
What the guide cannot tell you
A specification can help assess fit. It cannot establish how a product feels in daily use, its durability or the quality of a particular seller’s service. Those limits should be clear.
Commercial links
Some guides include clearly labelled affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. If you follow an affiliate link and make an eligible purchase, this publication may receive a commission. The measuring guide currently contains no product or affiliate links.
